My research interests lie at the intersection of plant ecology, soil microbiology, and stress physiology, with a particular focus on understanding the mechanisms and impacts of plant invasions. I am interested in how invasive plant species alter soil microbial communities and nutrient dynamics, and how these belowground interactions, in turn, influence plant performance and ecosystem functioning. By integrating aboveground and belowground perspectives, my research aims to unravel the ecological processes that drive invasion success and resilience, ultimately contributing to better management and restoration strategies in changing ecosystems.
