As a student of ecology, I am deeply interested in exploring how soil microorganisms respond to shifts in plant cover, particularly those resulting from alien plant invasions. I aim to understand the ecological repercussions of changes in the diversity and distribution of soil microbial communities following plant invasions. Additionally, I am keinterested in investigating the potential of natural materials e.g., Si in promoting the growth of key agricultural crops. This interest is driven by the broader goal of reducing the environmental footprint of agricultural practices, especially in the context of global climate change.
